Real beauty is possible

WHEN it comes to beauty, the Bible provides counsel for men, as well as for women. Most of the men said: "The beauty of beauty, MN  young men is their strength. The energy and the energy of the young men may be very appealing, but what happens when the energy of youth escapes? The book of Proverbs tells us this: “White hair is a crown of glory, if it is found in the way of righteousness.”  Truth is an element of inner beauty. If a young man cultivates it, he will have it even after he has lost the power of such attractive youth.
Concerning women, the Bible says: “Charm is deceptive, and beauty is vain; but a woman that fears Jehovah is to be praised. ”It is true that beauty and beauty make a young woman a great friend. However, while hypocrisy and selfish pride are hidden behind this beauty, it is merely an outward appearance, and conceals the inner ugliness. What will remain when the beauty disappears? Would it not be better to associate this external beauty, an inner beauty that does not pass away, since its source is in 'the fear of Jehovah'?
It changes one's identity
Could this inner beauty be possible? Yes, and that's what Christians should try to do. God himself gives great value to true beauty: "All things are lawful for them  in their own time). In addition, he disapproves of the worship of men whose behavior exposes unwanted human traits.
The apostle Paul's words to the Colossians emphasize the need for inner beauty. First of all, he gives this advice: “Let all things be taken away: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds. Paul added: “And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him” ( Colossians 3: 8-10 ). We need to 'put on' ideas that are in harmony with God's will. What makes this “new personality” unique?
True Christian qualities
The Bible lists many good qualities that contribute to the creation of this new quality. But Jesus shows us the essence of this inner beauty: “'You must love Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and great commandment. And the second, just like him, is, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' ”( ). Our love for God moves us to want to be the kind of person He is. This love also motivates us to talk about our neighbors to help them know their Creator. Isaiah 52: 7 .
The apostle Paul mentions other qualities that contribute to the creation of a new character: “Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, self-control. There is no law against such things. "- Galatians 5:22, 23 , MN .
Furthermore, the Bible tells husbands: “For the husband is the head of the wife, and Christ also is the head of the church... Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it. ”( Ephesians 5:23, 25). About married women, it is read: “Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord... - love, by not seeking the best for yourself and for the patience of a married man! And how much easier it is to do so, when her husband is expressing inner beauty by lovingly supporting her, rather than by criticizing her and cultivating a competitive spirit! In such circumstances, family life can be very enjoyable.
The people mentioned in the previous article have shown some of these qualities. For example, the young Shulammite showed steadfastness and love for his shepherd, as he refused to be abandoned because of the splendor in Solomon's palace. Joseph showed natural kindness by refusing to sin against Potiphar, as well as his self-control, by fleeing instead of trying to be influenced by his wife. In addition, gentleness, peace, and long-suffering worked on him because, despite his many dangers, he did not give up.
The beauty of the world is unique in its ugliness
Are these qualities worth cultivating today? Many people think no, and, in the face of selfishness and greed, they keep their hearts strong. They think that in order to survive, they must be unselfish , seek after fame and self- esteem and take every opportunity to make it possible.
Instead, the Bible gives this admonition: “Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. ”( Philippians 2: 3, 4 ) Because people generally do not respond to such good advice, the community is in turmoil.
In addition, we live in a world in which a person's success is measured by his wealth or position. The rich man is said to be a successful man. However, when it comes to the things that really matter in life, the idea of wealth or poverty is gone. In addition, wealth does not mean harm. The Bible gives this warning: “And those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare and into many foolish and hurtful lusts.” He adds: “For the love of money is the root of all things. every bad thing. ”- 1 Timothy 6: 9, 10 .
True, some are selfish, greedy, materialistic, and mercilessly find temporary success. However, this success is only exemplary, because it often costs a high price to have such an unhealthy life: people dislike it, destroy their marriage, ruin their health and feel deep dissatisfaction. It is true that man is created in the image of God, but he does not find happiness in doing such things that are completely contrary to the attributes God has placed in him. Genesis 1:27 .
Let us have inner beauty
How can we, in these circumstances, resist the evil influences of the world and cultivate a noble, godly character? Paul has shown 'love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and self-control' to be "the fruit of the spirit" . Galatians 5:22, 23 , MN  ). Therefore, in order to cultivate these qualities, it is essential that we have God's spirit.
Studying the Bible, written under the inspiration of God through his spirit, allows us to identify these qualities and to strengthen our desire to cultivate them ( 2 Timothy 3:16 ). Jehovah's Witnesses are always happy to help people who want to study the Bible because they consider it a part of their ministry. It lets us see our weaknessesit is an honest reflection, and we can pray for the help of God's spirit to progress in these areas. Communicating with other worshipers of God gives us the support we need, and in that case, we receive the help of God's spirit. Did Jesus not really say: “Wherever two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” - Matthew 18:20 .
A world where beauty reigns
Of course, none of us can overcome its imperfections. However, God blesses our efforts to obtain inner beauty, and He rewards us with rich rewards. The Bible does indeed tell us that God intends to soon create a new world that is entirely different from our own. Then "the righteous shall inherit the land and dwell in it forever" Jesus himself said: “Happy are the mild-tempered ones. for he himself will possess the earth. ”-
Then, the spirit of competition and selfishness, these ugly things that are characteristic of the world today, will provide a place for peace, far more tranquility. “And they shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; For the earth will certainly be filled with the knowledge of Jehovah as the waters cover the sea. ”Yes, he will “wipe out every tear from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be pain; for the former things have passed away. " Revelation 21: 4 .
Do you find these situations to be appealing? Know that this will happen only because the inhabitants of the earth will have the inner beauty that is based on the love of God and neighbor. But, as for God, He has promised that those who serve him, cultivate “the new nature” and strive to live by His principles will find the fulfillment of that promise. Beauty can never be such a blessing. Is not this a good reason to seek out this inner beauty, which brings so much good and lasting benefit to the upright people and to God himself?

People who are beautiful on the outside should not be selfish or use others. Instead, they should seek the inner beauty that is pleasing to God
